We are here to help you get the most out of KidCheck. Most questions are answered below, and you can always reach a real person by email.
Email us with any question, bug report, or feedback. We usually reply within 2 business days.
Email hello@collabbook.coPoint your camera at a game, app, show, movie, or snack and KidCheck gives you a clear verdict in seconds, personalized to your child's age and your family's values, along with the reasons behind it. Verdicts are guidance to support your judgment as a parent, not a guarantee.
Open the app, pick the child you are checking for, then tap the camera and either take a photo or choose one from your library. You will get a verdict with reasons and, when something is flagged, safer alternatives.
On any verdict you can tap the feedback option to tell us it missed the mark or to correct the item we detected. Correcting the item re-runs the check. Your feedback also helps us improve future verdicts.
KidCheck Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. You can view, change, or cancel it any time in your device Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period. See Apple's guide to managing subscriptions for step-by-step help.
Open the app, go to the upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. If it still does not appear, email us and we will help.
KidCheck does not require an account. Child profiles and scan history are stored in encrypted form on your device. You can edit or delete any profile inside the app, and deleting the app removes that local data. For details on what our service handles, see our Privacy Policy.
